Techno Group was incorporated in 1994 by the three dynamic personalities from one of the main entrepreneur producing cities of India; Ahmedabad. Roots of Techno Instruments were premeditated more than 27 years ago, when these three fresh graduates in Instrumentation & Control realized the immense potential of Industrial Thermometry. After exploring the industry inside out for few years as employees, these three visionaries viz. Mr. Abhijit Gohil, Mr. Daxesh Shah & Mr. Bhavesh Parikh incepted their careers in this industry as assemblers of RTD & T/Cs with the name Techno Instruments. The idea of incessant improvement through continuous R&D in this small venture of assembling RTD & T/Cs laid the basic foundations of “Techno Group”.
Their insistence against all odds and blitz of time and circumstances has brought them rich dividends. Mr. Alpesh Patel joined the trio in year 2000 and added new dimensions and spirit to the organization with his single-minded obsession to take Techno Group to the top.
From custom design, high volume temperature sensors for OEM applications and metal industries to high performance products for the nuclear power generation and industrial automation markets, Techno Instrument helps keep industry and business around the nation up and running.
At present Techno Group is manufacturing the RTD, T/Cs, Thermowells, RTD-Elements & Mineral Insulated (MI) Cables and, in addition to that Techno provides full range of temperature baths for calibration purposes. This expedition from assemblers to the satisfactory solution providers in the span of just 27 years itself speak volumes about competence of Techno Group.

Today we are one of the esteemed names in Indian RTD & T/C industry and registering constant growth of 30% every year. Succesfully supplied & creaed PTR of Mutipoint reactor Thermocouple for Multiple Oil & Gas plants.
Leak proof 100% satisfying design developed for Pharma’s Autoclave & sterilizer application as well as for Power industry’s TDBFP & MDBFP applications
Registered as a vendor with Farabi Yanbu Petrochemical Company Limited, Saudi Arabia & received purchase order for supply of tube skin thermocouples.
Executed Orders for Indian Oil Corporation Limited under PMCs like Thyssenkrupp & Technip.
Also Started Exporting RTDs and Mineral Insulated Cables to China, Italy, Brazil, Finland, Estonia, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, Korea
After continues R&D for more then 2 years ,We at Techno succeeded in developing, Fabricating & Realizing primary calibration standard Cells as per ITS-90 . It includes :

Techno qualified by ABB, Finland for supplying winding stator RTDs and bearing temperature detectors.
Received an award for INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY from Govt. of India.
Got approval as vendor from Indian metal giant MECON ltd
Techno Instruments qualified as a one of the very few vendors of Engineers India Limited for supply in Indian Oil & Gas Sector & in NTPC Limited
Successfully developed Integral self power neutron detectors for Tarapur nuclear reactor. Also, successfully developed Extended Cold Region Heaters for Fast Breeder Nuclear Reactor
Techno Instruments got reorganization from NPCIL as potential vendor for development of Self Powered Neutron Detector in India.
To cater growing demand of Techno Products. We expanded & shifted our works to 10 times bigger unit at Santej, Gandhinagar.
Got CE , ATEX , IECEx , Exia approval for stator winding RTDs from DNV Norway.
Got registered as a vendor with Indian power leader company Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited & Steel leader company Steel Authority of India Limited.
Started PAN India operations.
MI cable manufacturing facility further updated to make MI cable as small as 0.5mm dia.
Techno registered record growth of 45% and started new marketing office as a part of its future expansion plans.
Started a new state of art manufacturing facility for making wire wound RTD elements and stator winding RTDs.
Started manufacturing compression calibration instruments for temperature elements.
After contentious R&D, Techno reached a land mark by producing the bar-stock THERMOWELL of 1200mm length in single piece weld free construction. Installed a SPM for this drilling process.
As a first step in backward integration, Techno started manufacturing wire wound RTD elements, after 2 years of rigorous developmental activities. Became one of the very few manufacturers across globe.
Started in-house manufacturing.
Techno Instruments is formed.
